Graded dirt now covers the corner of Via Inspirada and Via Centro. Sansone Companies' project page still invites retailers to pre-lease space there. Since the ceremonial groundbreaking in February, people have mostly been asking one thing about that corner: when does the Sprouts open?
As of early October 2026, no one has confirmed an answer in public. The one date in circulation comes from a single February article. The 63-acre casino site next door has no announced start date. The only Inspirada events this fall with fixed dates are on the Inspirada Community Association's calendar.
What the Via Centro site is actually becoming
The project is called Centurion. Sansone Companies describes it as a 24-acre mixed-use development "directly adjacent to the future 63-acre Inspirada Station by Station Casinos." News3LV covered the groundbreaking on February 26, 2026.
Sansone's release, published by Nevada Business Magazine the next day, splits the project into three phases:
| Phase | What it delivers | Timing stated |
|---|---|---|
| One | 80,000+ sq ft of retail in nine buildings on about 10 acres | "Now underway" as of February 2026 |
| Two and Three | About 600 apartments in four residential towers, plus a leasing office and clubhouse | Within the overall five-to-seven-year horizon |
Only one Phase One tenant has been named: Sprouts. The rest are described by type, "a tavern, and various food and services such as a nail salon and wellness center, with more to be announced." Miles Sansone, head of development and finance at Sansone Companies, said the company is aiming for "a modern, walkable environment" with "inviting plazas, shaded patios, and contemporary architecture."
So the first piece is a grocery store, a tavern and a few service shops. The apartments come later, and the developer's own estimate for finishing everything runs years past 2026.
Where the "end of 2026" date comes from
The specific date comes from Hoodline's February 27 article. It reported about 78,756 square feet of retail, a first phase costing around $60 million, and a retail complex "slated to wrap up by Dec. 31, 2026." The page is labeled AI-assisted, and its square footage differs slightly from the developer's "over 80,000."
We could not find any report from March through early October 2026 that confirms the December target, adds a tenant, or gives Sprouts its own opening date. Sansone says it will announce "additional project updates and future phase milestones" as construction progresses. Until it does, December 31 is a forecast made on groundbreaking day. Nobody has promised a store will open on that date.
The casino site next door has even less on the record
Inspirada Station is the larger of the two neighboring projects. It also has the least information attached to it.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal asked Red Rock Resorts president Scott Kreeger in May 2026 what Station Casinos would build next. He said that hadn't been decided. "Certainly the Inspirada project is towards the top of our list," he told the Review-Journal. "We like where it's located, right in the city center of the Inspirada master plan development. We're anticipating that there'll be major arterial roadways brought in from I-15, directly into our site."
The company's two most recent earnings calls didn't add much. On the April 29, 2026 call, management said in a transcript published by The Motley Fool that it was "making progress" on two greenfield projects but had "nothing to announce now or necessarily in the very near future." On the August 4 call, executives said in a transcript published by The Motley Fool that they were pricing two unnamed projects with general contractors and hoped for "more information as we kind of turn the corner and get into the early part of 2027." Neither call named Inspirada as one of the two.
As of today, then, the public record shows no construction start and no opening year for Inspirada Station. The earliest checkpoint the company has mentioned is a possible update in early 2027.
Here is how the dates stack up
Sorting this fall's Inspirada-area dates by how firm they are gives a short list:
- Firm, already happened. The new McDonald's at 2455 Via Inspirada, Suite 110, opened August 13, 2026, according to Fox5. It is the only business we could verify as opening in or right next to Inspirada in 2026.
- Firm, on the calendar. Every dated event below comes from the association.
- Forecast. Centurion's retail by December 31, 2026, from a single February report.
- Undecided. Inspirada Station, with a possible company update in early 2027.
The Shops at Inspirada, at Via Inspirada and Bicentennial Parkway, doesn't count as new. The Review-Journal reported it open in September 2021.
What the association has actually scheduled
The Inspirada Community Association lifestyle page lists these public dates for the next six weeks:
- Saturday, October 17: Fresh52 Farmers' Market
- Wednesday, October 21: Board of Directors Meeting
- Saturday, October 24: Inspirada Fall Festival: Twilight Zone
- Friday, October 30: Food Truck Friday Fright Night
- Saturday, November 7: Fresh52 Farmers' Market
- Saturday, November 14: Vitalant Blood Drive
Venues, times and details for 2026 are behind the resident login. The public event page just says "You Must Login to View this Page." Past years give some idea of what to expect, but the portal has the final word for this year.
The Fall Festival, based on last year
The 2025 Fall Festival ran Saturday, October 25, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Aventura Park, 2525 Via Firenze. It was free and included field-day games, bounce houses, costume-friendly trick-or-treating, the RTC Spooky Bus, food trucks and vendors. Residents and their guests had to register in advance, and everyone age six and up needed a wristband. The 2024 festival kept the same Saturday, 2-to-6 p.m. slot, listed at 2000 Via Firenze. Whether this year's Twilight Zone theme comes with a new location or new registration rules will be posted in the portal.
Food Truck Friday
The association's first-quarter 2025 social calendar listed Food Truck Friday on February 28 and March 28, both from 5 to 8 p.m. The October 30 "Fright Night" edition falls on the Friday before Halloween. Its 2026 location and truck lineup haven't been published.
Fresh52 at Solista Park
Of the three, the farmers' market has the longest track record. The association says Fresh52 has run its regular market at the Solista Pavilion since 2016. Fresh52's locations page lists Inspirada at Solista Park with 2026 summer hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays. The fall dates fit that pattern: October 17 is the third Saturday of the month and November 7 is the first. The two sources give different street numbers. Fresh52 uses 1890 Via Firenze and the association uses 2000 Via Firenze. Either way, it's the Solista Park site.
Fresh52's full vendor roster includes Baby Birds Design Co., The Best Hummus Ever, Dapper Doughnut, Desert Moon Mushrooms and Pahrump Honey, among others. The roster covers all of Fresh52's markets, so it doesn't confirm who will be at Solista on a particular Saturday.
What will change these dates
The Centurion timeline is the first one likely to firm up. Sansone is still recruiting tenants, and the developer has said more names are coming. Once it names the tavern or the other Phase One businesses, or Sprouts posts an opening date, the December forecast becomes something you can plan around. Station Casinos has pointed to early 2027 as its next possible checkpoint. Kreeger's mention of new arterial roads coming in from I-15 is the detail to watch for anyone who drives toward the interstate every day.
The next sure thing on the calendar is the Fresh52 market at Solista Park on Saturday, October 17.
